I have been very interested in the possible benefit of herbs for a very long time. I have provided them to our pocket pets over the years. Gizmo, hamilton, charles and benny seemed to have enjoyed them. I felt good knowing they may be getting some benefits from the various herbs.
These herbs are meant to entice the taste buds, provide enrichment and help form a bond between the pocket pet and its human. Each herb should be offered no more than 2-3 times a week as a treat either on top of their food, hay or sprinkled on a foraging mat.
If your little pet is not used to herbs - give them time. Some little critters are more leary to new smells and tastes than others.
The information I have provided on herbs is from my own research - through books and websites, as well as from my own experience. This information is not meant as advice or treatment.
Herbs are not medication. If your pet is unwell, consult a veterinarian. Herbs are not recommended for pregnant or lactating rodents. If your pet is on medication, consult your veterinarian before offering any type of herb, as some medications and herbs are not compatible.
To guarantee the optimal quality of these herbal blends, I do not package them until your order arrives. In order for you to be able to purchase my freshest herbal blends in the stores, I ensure there is a best before/ expiry date clearly marked on the package.
Keep herbs in a cool dark place and sealed in an airtight container or the original resealed bag. These herbs can be kept in the refrigerator but not the freezer.
